CONSUMER PROTECTION

Irish Total Payment Protection (topp) Policy

In compliance with The Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995 in the Republic of Ireland, an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited, to protect Republic of Ireland customers' prepayments in the unlikely event of our financial failure, and paid in respect of:

This policy covers Travel Packages sold by InteleTravel UK Limited (company reg 10983417) to customers in Ireland for:
- A refund of such repayments if customers have not yet travelled, or
- Making arrangements to enable the holiday to continue if customers have already travelled
- Repatriation of customers as may be applicable, subject to the temrs of the insurance policy

Travel Services

These can be subject to change, especially if your holiday is booked well in advance. In compliance with the Package Holidays & Travel Trade Act, we are obliged to inform you of these changes as soon as we receive them. If the changes have a considerable effect on the travel arrangements, customers are legally entitled to a refund or credit without penalty. For the most up-to-date travel advice, please visit https://www.dfa.ie/travel/travel-advice/ Many countries update their regulations frequently: please refer to the website for medical and travel information, prior to departure. Ensure you have adequate travel insurance.

Advance Passenger Information

The Irish Government requires that we collect your passport details for security purposes, prior to travel. This should be submitted when your holiday is confirmed or no later than 3 months before departure. Specific mandatory requirements by the holiday provider will be sent to you prior to departure. Each supplier will differ for this information so please check carefully.

Financial Protection

Travel inclusive packages within the Republic of Ireland sold by the Policyholder as principal to the contract are protected by the Irish topp policy subject to the terms and conditions of the policy. In the unlikely event of financial failure please contact the claims helpline on +44 (0) 1702 811397. A copy of the policy is available on request from your travel organiser.

This policy is provided by: Travel & General Insurance Services Limited (t&g), registered number 02527363 and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA UK Branch (Accelerant), an insurance company which is authorised and regulated by the Prudential Authority (Ref. 940712).

Special Assistance

Any special assistance needs or requirements will be confirmed on your documentation, along with any charges that you will have been informed at the time of booking.

Emergency Information

In the case of an emergency, the details of the travel service provider will be visible on the documentation. Please always remember to ensure you have your travel insurance details with you at all times. InteleTravel Customer Service department is available by telephoning (0) 1800 816398 if calling from mobile telephoned within the ROI or 0330 8080 4419 if calling from outside ROI.

We will only use the details above to contact you with offers and information about our products and services. As per our Privacy Policy, your email address will not be disclosed or used for any other purposes; we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Information is correct at time of quotation but subject to availability until payment.

Complaints

If you have a problem whilst on holiday, this must be reported to the relevant principal/supplier or their local supplier or agent immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint. f you are unable to contact the resort representative, you should contact your travel advisor as soon as possible. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may be reduced or you may not receive any at all depending upon the circumstances. If you wish to complain when you return home, write to the principal/supplier. You will see the name and address plus contact details in any confirmation documentation. We will of course assist you with this if you wish- please contact your InteleTravel agent and copy Customer Services at customerservice@inteletravel.com. Please ensure you provide all the relevant information such as booking reference, date of departure and all travel details. Please refer to our Package Holiday Booking Conditions.
